Christie & Co has helped a pharmacist buy her first pharmacy having supported her to source the finance to complete the deal.
Ikheko Evbuomwan bought Angel City Pharmacy in Islington for an undisclosed price after previous owner Shaid Sheikh, who had run it since 2015, decided to retire.
Christie & Co said the “standard hours” pharmacy dispenses an average of 1,971 items a month and “benefits from a high footfall thanks to its busy London location.”
“Ikheko is delighted to achieve her goal of owning her first pharmacy as we held her hand and took her through the whole process from sourcing the finance and helping her to completion,” said Raj Patel, finance consultant at Christie Finance.
Mark Page, director-pharmacy at Christie & Co, said: “Ikheko has some big plans for the business including adding additional services including the Pharmacy First scheme and Covid and flu vaccinations.”
